Vineyards and vines
Location: Surrounding the hilltop town of Vilalba dels Arcs, around 450m above sea level.
Varieties: Garnacha, Syrah, Tempranillo.
Vine age:15 years and above.

Harvesting
Harvesting is in September, when maturation conditions are at their best. Grapes are picked by hand and transported to the winery for quality control, ensuring they are intact and healthy on arrival and in optimum condition for winemaking.

Winemaking
Temperature controlled fermentation at 25º C for 12 days, with remontage and maceration, achieving good colour and an elegant and well structured wine.

Tasting notes
Colour: Bright cherry red with violet undertones.
Nose: Clean, intense aroma with notes of fully ripe red fruits (raspberries, strawberries).
Taste: Balanced, smooth, with good weight and structure. Silky tannins give unusual complexity for a young wine, while the finish is long and satisfying.

This wine will develop well over the next 2 years. It should be served at a temperature of around 17 to 18 ºC.
