Location: Surrounding the hilltop town of Vilalba dels Arcs, around 450m above sea level.
Varieties: Garnacha 60%, Cariñena 40%.
Vine age: Old vines – a minimum of 20 years old.

Harvesting is in September, when maturation conditions are at their best. Grapes are picked by hand and transported to the winery for quality control, ensuring they are intact and healthy on arrival and in optimum condition for winemaking.
Grape varieties are vinified separately, with temperature controlled fermentation at 26 to 28º C. They remain in their vats for a further 18 to 20 days, giving good wine colour and polyphenolic content.
The wine is aged in French and American oak barrels for 14 months before bottling.
Colour: Bright cherry colour with violet undertones.
Nose: Aroma of ripe red fruits with vanilla notes.
Taste: Intense taste of red berries, silky and full bodied, with good structure. Oak is well integrated, bringing spice and toasted notes that will develop further in the bottle.
This wine will develop well over the next 3 to 4 years. It should be served at a temperature of around 17 to 18 ºC.
